As waves of Covid-19 infections spread across the US, Apple announced that nearly 50 previously opened stores would temporarily close. However, as June wore on, it became clear that reopening would not be a 1-way street. Apple also significantly increased the number of stores reopening across the United States and began opening up a majority of its retail locations across the UK.
